Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Android Mobile Application Developer with strong hands-on experience in Kotlin and Java to design, develop, and enhance high-performance Android applications. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with modern Android architectures and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and enhance Android applications using Kotlin / Java.

- Integrate and consume RESTful APIs and manage local data using Room / SQLite.

- Implement modern Android architecture patterns such as MVVM.

- Work extensively with Android Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation, etc.).

- Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

- Ensure application quality, stability, and responsiveness across devices.

- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA, and product teams to deliver features on time.

- Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for clean and maintainable code.

- Stay updated with the latest Android platform features and industry trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong hands-on experience with Android SDK and Android Studio.

- Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java for Android development.

- Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and networking libraries.

- Experience with Android Jetpack and MVVM architecture.

- Hands-on experience with Git and version control workflows.

- Solid debugging, problem-solving, and UI implementation skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Good to Have :

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.

- Knowledge of material design guidelines.

- Exposure to unit testing frameworks for Android.

- Experience publishing apps to the Google Play Store.
