Role Overview :

Build and maintain WhatsApp-based automation flows that power service bookings, reminders and dealer group communication at scale across a large dealer network.

Key Responsibilities :

- Build, test and maintain WhatsApp group automation flows (bookings, reminders, notifications)

- Debug and resolve automation issues in production with minimal downtime

- Collaborate with the Solutions Architect on integration points with backend systems

- Document flows and maintain a reusable component library

- Pair with the other engineer in this role for coverage and peer review

Requirements :

- 2 - 5 years of experience in backend development, chatbot/automation engineering or a related field

- Hands-on experience with WhatsApp Business API, Meta's messaging platform, or similar conversational tooling

- Comfortable with REST APIs, webhooks and JSON-based integrations

- Strong debugging skills and ownership of production issues

Good to Have :

- Experience with no-code/low-code automation platforms

- Node.js or Python backend experience
