West Pharmaceutical Services - Software Engineer - .Net/Azure

Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Azure/Cloud Developer to join our Digital & Technology team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in building and enhancing cloud-native applications and integrating real-time IoT solutions in a regulated (pharmaceutical or manufacturing) environment. You will work with cutting-edge Microsoft technologies, microservices architecture, and contribute to AI-enabled automation workflows.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain enterprise-grade applications using C#, .NET Core, React, and Entity Framework

- Write modular, secure, and scalable code using microservice-based architecture

- Build and deploy Docker containers, manage container lifecycle via Azure Container Registry

- Support validation processes and SOPs in a regulated domain (e.g., Pharma/FDA)

- Monitor applications using Azure Monitor, diagnose performance issues and implement fixes

- Maintain technical documentation, unit tests, and participate in peer code reviews

Required Skills & Experience :

- 35 years of experience in software development on Microsoft Azure

- Proficient in C#, .NET Core, React.js, and modern JavaScript frameworks

- Good knowledge of OData, JSON, RESTful APIs, and modern API development practices

- Hands-on experience with Docker, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines

- Experience working with microservices and modular software design

Educational Qualification :

Additional Requirements :

- Willing to work in 12 : 00 PM 9 : 00 PM IST shift

- Open to occasional on-call duties and up to 10% international travel
