About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with strong experience in building scalable, high-performance, and secure backend systems.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about clean architecture, writing robust code, and optimizing backend performance.

Note : We are not looking for candidates from JavaScript/Node.js backgrounds expertise in other backend technologies is preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and databases.

- Architect scalable solutions and contribute to system design discussions.

- Optimize performance and ensure system reliability, security, and fault tolerance.

- Integrate third-party APIs and internal services.

- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure coding best practices.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.

- Collaborate closely with product, frontend, DevOps, and QA teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend development.

- Proficiency in one or more non-JS backend technologies, such as :

1. Java / Spring Boot

2. Python / Django / FastAPI / Flask

3. Go / Gin

- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.

- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.

- Good grasp of data structures, algorithms, and system design concepts.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Good to Have :

- Experience with message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.

- Knowledge of testing frameworks and writing unit/integration tests.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and monitoring tools.
