Webkit Developer - C/C++

Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior WebKit Developer to drive innovation in our browser engine and media application technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain WebKit and features for scalable and efficient web-based Media applications.

- Architect and implement new features, ensuring high performance and scalability across platforms.

- Evaluate, apply, and test CVE patches for WebKit to ensure security and reliability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

- Optimize WebKit performance across various platforms (Mobile, Embedded Systems etc.) and devices.

- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

- Debug and resolve complex issues related to WebKit Engine and functionality.

- Stay abreast of the latest WebKit developments and industry trends in Media space.

- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.

- Create and maintain technical documentation for the developed features and systems

Technical Skills & Competencies Core Skills :

- Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming for systems and performance-critical applications.

- In-depth knowledge of WebKit internals, including rendering pipeline, DOM architecture, layout engine, and JSC (JavaScriptCore).

- Experience in browser engine development (WebKit, Blink, or Gecko) and understanding of web standards (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, WebAssembly).

- Deep understanding of media frameworks such as GStreamer, FFmpeg, or OpenMAX for handling audio/video pipelines.

- Proficiency in multi-threaded programming, memory management, and performance profiling on Linux and embedded platforms.

- Hands-on experience with cross-platform development (Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS, Android, or embedded systems).

- Additional Technical Expertise Familiarity with networking protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, WebRTC, WebSocket, HLS, DASH) and browser sandboxing models.
