Web GIS Developer - ArcGIS/ESRI

About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled Web GIS Developer with hands-on experience in ESRI web development and 3D GIS technologies.

The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in TypeScript, Python, and SQL, and a solid understanding of front-end development and spatial databases.

You will work on developing interactive GIS applications and integrating geospatial data across web platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Implement and integrate 3D GIS features using tools like Cesium and ESRI 3D.

- Develop and maintain front-end interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

- Work with geospatial data formats such as GeoJSON, KML, Shapefiles, etc.

- Develop automation scripts and tools using Python for geospatial data processing and manipulation.

- Write and optimize SQL queries across databases like PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Oracle Spatial, and MS SQL Server.

- Collaborate with GIS analysts, designers, and back-end developers to deliver scalable and user-friendly GIS solutions.

- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.

Required Skills :

- Strong knowledge of 3D GIS technologies (e.g., Cesium, ESRI 3D).

- Proficiency in TypeScript, along with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

- Understanding of geospatial formats like GeoJSON, KML, etc.

- Experience with Python for scripting and data processing.

- Strong SQL skills with hands-on experience in PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Oracle, and MS SQL Server.

- Good understanding of web development best practices and responsive UI design.

Good to Have :

- Exposure to cloud-based GIS platforms (e.g., ArcGIS Online, AWS, Azure).

- Knowledge of spatial analysis techniques and geoprocessing tools.
