Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js

- Build and manage cloud-based applications and infrastructure on AWS

- Design, optimise, and maintain relational databases using MySQL

- Ensure high performance, security, and responsiveness of backend systems

- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders

- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code

- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning

- Implement data protection and security best practices

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement

Must-Have Technical Skills :

- Node.js Strong experience in backend development

- AWS Hands-on experience with services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, etc.

- MySQL Expertise in database design, queries, indexing, and optimization

- Experience building RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services

- Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture

Nice to Have Skills :

- Experience with frameworks like Express.js or similar

- Knowledge of authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth)

- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines

- Experience with version control tools like Git

- Exposure to microservices architecture

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

- 2 to 5 years of relevant backend development experience

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

- Good communication and collaboration abilities
