Warner Bros. Discovery - Software Engineer II - Full Stack Development

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain REST-based microservices using Java.

- Develop intuitive and responsive user interfaces using modern front-end technologies such as Angular, React, and HTML5

- Build and optimize robust back-end services, ensuring seamless integration with databases (SQL).

- Deploy and manage cloud-native applications on AWS infrastructure.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, DevOps, and product owners, to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Ensure the applications performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices, including unit testing and code reviews.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application code and infrastructure.

- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.

What to Bring :

- We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineers 3-4 years with expertise in full-stack development to join AdTech team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable, cloud-native applications and a strong understanding of modern software development practices.

- Microservice Development : Hands-on experience developing and deploying REST-based microservices using Java frameworks (e.g., Spring and Hibernate).

Full-Stack Development :

- Front-End : Proficiency in Angular, React, and HTML5 for building interactive UIs.

- Back-End : Expertise in Java for business logic and APIs.

- Database : Strong understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases.

- Cloud Experience :

- Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).

- Familiarity with cloud-native architecture and deployment practices.

- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, etc.) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Solid understanding of software development principles, including design patterns, clean code, system design, software architecture and agile methodologies.

- Experience with Advertising, AdTech, Ad Server (SSP/DSP), OTT or Media Streaming will be preferred.
