Job Summary :


We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Staff Systems Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of complex enterprise systems and infrastructure. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong architectural thinking, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, security, and business teams. The ideal candidate will drive strategic technology initiatives, ensure system reliability and scalability, and mentor engineering teams on best practices.


Key Responsibilities


- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available systems infrastructure.


- Lead architecture reviews and provide technical guidance for critical platforms and services.


- Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.


- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and technical roadmaps.


- Troubleshoot complex system issues and lead root cause analysis efforts.


- Develop automation solutions for infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, deployment, and maintenance.


- Establish and enforce engineering standards, security controls, and operational best practices.


- Mentor engineers and contribute to technical leadership across the organization.


- Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and capacity planning initiatives.


- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.


Required Qualifications :


- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.


- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure, cloud platforms, or related domains.


- Strong expertise in Linux/Unix and Windows environments.


- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.


- Proficiency in automation and scripting tools (Python, PowerShell, Bash, Terraform, Ansible, etc.).


- Knowledge of networking, virtualization, storage, security, and observability technologies.


- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.


Preferred Qualifications :


- Experience leading large-scale infrastructure transformation projects.


- Relevant industry certifications (AWS, Azure, VMware, CISSP, or equivalent).


- Experience with containerization, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
