VUPICO - Generative AI Developer - Java/Spring Boot

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Gen AI Consultant/Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and AI-driven solutions. This is a hands-on role that requires both technical depth and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who can bring AI concepts into practical applications while working closely with other engineers, architects, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement Agentic AI applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, data scientists, and backend engineers to deliver scalable AI-powered solutions.

- Contribute to solution design discussions, share knowledge, and ensure smooth integration of AI capabilities into existing systems.

- Actively participate in code reviews, design reviews, and team brainstorming sessions.

- Mentor junior team members and encourage a culture of learning and collaboration.

- Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment are followed within the team.

Candidate Profile :

- 8+ years of hands-on software development experience with Java and Spring Boot.

- Strong understanding of Generative AI concepts, APIs, and integration with enterprise applications.

- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with distributed systems.

- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with remote teams.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a focus on problem-solving and shared success.

- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
