Your Role : Observability Engineer
Experience : 1 - 5 Years
Education : Bachelor's/master's degree
Location : Mumbai (work from office & rotational shift)
As an Observability Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining IT infrastructure health through NOC operations, ensuring SLA adherence, and managing incidents (including P1/Major). You will work in a 24x7 shift environment, utilize ITOM/ITSM tools for proactive issue detection, and collaborate across network, server, application, and database layers. Strong communication, reporting, and a continuous learning mindset are essential for success in this role.

Roles & Responsibilities :
- Excellent verbal / Written communication (Added Written as well) and good attitude.
- Flexible to work in shifts that includes night shift
- Basic understanding of process and importance of it along with managing reports/documentation.
- Experience in working at NOC / Command Centre driven using SLA, Experience in ITIL Incident Management and Major / P1 incident management
- Fluency in MS Excel, power-point is required.
- Monitor infrastructure, applications, and services using observability tool to ensure system availability and performance.
- Analyze alerts to identify trends, anomalies, or early warning signs of incidents.
- Participate in bridge calls during major incidents and provide real-time monitoring insights to aid in resolution.
- Maintain monitoring docs and share regular reports on alerts, trends, and system performance to support quick response and improvements.
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to observability, noise reduction, and operational excellence.
Mandatory Skills :
- Preference to the candidates who have experience in NOC monitoring tools such as (ITOM, ITSM) as L1 resource.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and upgrade themselves as and when required.
- Understanding of infrastructure and flow, how all the components work hand in hand (Network, server, application and database).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle pressure during incident situations.
- Practical experience in incident, problem, and change management is preferred.
Good to Have :
- Good verbal and written communication skills to connect with customers at varying levels of the organization.
- Ability to operate independently and make decisions with little direct supervision.
Additional Information :
- Should be open to work in 24-7 shifts.
