Job Title : GCP Data Engineer

Location : Pune (EON IT Park)

Work Mode : Onsite

Shift Timings : 10 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM

Experience Required : 4 - 8 years

About the Role :

- We are looking for a highly skilled GCP Data Engineer to join our team.

- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building, maintaining, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions.

- This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement data integration solutions while ensuring performance, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines and data workflows using GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Cloud Run, and Pub/Sub.

- Write efficient SQL and PL/SQL queries to handle data extraction, transformation, and loading.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.

- Implement data models, including SCD Type 1 & Type 2, normalization, and best practices for data warehousing.

- Ensure data quality, governance, and security across all pipelines and data processes.

- Optimize performance and cost of cloud-based data solutions.

- Work in an Agile environment, actively participating in sprints, code reviews, and deployments.

Required Skills :

- Core : GCP, Python, BigQuery, SQL/PLSQL

- Secondary : Data Warehousing, ETL Fundamentals

- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques.

- Experience with large-scale data integration and migration projects.

- Knowledge of cloud-native development and CI/CD processes.

Good to Have Skills :

- Experience with Data Quality implementation in ETL pipelines.

- Familiarity with Agile project management tools like Jira.

- Telecom domain knowledge.
