Position Overview :

We're looking for a Senior Software Developer (Java) to design and build backend services on our Java stack, working closely with product and platform teams to build secure, scalable systems for claims processing and healthcare-fintech workflows. You'll report to the Engineering Manager and be expected to write high-quality code and contribute to technical decisions for the team.

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Tech Stack :

- Java, Spring Boot, REST API Design, Kafka, Event-Driven Architecture, SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microservices Architecture, Design Patterns, Git, Code Review, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, CI/CD, Redis

Good to Have :

- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred)

- Experience setting up or maintaining CI/CD pipelines

- Familiarity with caching layers (e.g. Redis)

Preferred Domain Experience :

- Experience in health insurance, insurance technology, healthcare technology, fintech, or another regulated industry

- Experience building systems handling sensitive data at scale, with attention to data integrity and auditability
