We are looking for experienced VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Professionals to join our Infrastructure and Cloud Services team. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in VMware virtualization, software-defined data centers (SDDC), and cloud infrastructure management. The selected candidates will be responsible for deploying, administering, upgrading, and supporting enterprise VMware Cloud Foundation environments while ensuring high availability, security, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, administer, and maintain VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments.
- Manage SDDC Manager for lifecycle management, orchestration, and automation of VMware infrastructure.
- Install, configure, and administer VMware ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and vSphere clusters.
- Configure and manage VMware vSAN storage clusters, storage policies, and performance optimization.
- Deploy, administer, and troubleshoot VMware NSX-T for network virtualization, micro-segmentation, and security.
- Implement and manage VMware Aria Suite (formerly vRealize Suite) for monitoring, automation, operations, and lifecycle management.
- Create and manage Management Domains and Workload Domains within VMware Cloud Foundation.
- Perform VCF deployment, expansion, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management activities.
- Execute Day 1 implementation activities including installation, configuration, and environment setup.
- Perform Day 2 operational activities including monitoring, troubleshooting, optimization, patching, upgrades, and capacity planning.
- Monitor infrastructure health, availability, and performance while ensuring compliance with enterprise standards.
- Troubleshoot issues related to compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, security, storage, and cloud teams during project implementation and support.
- Participate in infrastructure migrations, modernization, and cloud transformation initiatives.
- Develop operational documentation, architecture diagrams, SOPs, and technical runbooks.
- Support production environments through Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Participate in on-call support and ensure SLA compliance for critical production environments.
Required Technical Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF 4.x, 5.x, or later).
- Expertise in SDDC Manager administration and lifecycle management.
- Advanced knowledge of VMware vSphere infrastructure.
- Experience administering VMware ESXi and VMware vCenter Server.
- Strong experience with VMware vSAN configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with VMware NSX-T networking and security.
- Experience with VMware Aria Suite (formerly VMware vRealize Suite):

- Experience creating and managing:

- Knowledge of VCF deployment methodologies and lifecycle management.

4. vMotion
5. Storage vMotion
6. Distributed Switches (VDS)
- Understanding of enterprise storage technologies including SAN, NAS, and VMware vSAN.
- Knowledge of enterprise networking concepts including VLANs, VXLAN, overlay networking, and virtual switching.
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
- Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions for VMware environments.
Good to Have:
- PowerCLI scripting.
- PowerShell automation.
- Experience with VMware HCX.
- Knowledge of VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM).
- Experience integrating VMware Cloud Foundation with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Exposure to Kubernetes, Tanzu, or container platforms.
- VMware certifications such as:
1. VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
2. VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP)
3. VMware Cloud Foundation Specialist
4. VMware VCF Deployment certifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant VMware infrastructure experience.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise virtualization environments.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise production support models.
