Job Title : VMware Cloud Engineer

Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled VMware Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and manage enterprise VMware infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), VMware vSphere, VMware Aria Automation, and VMware NSX. This role involves implementing virtualization and cloud infrastructure solutions for enterprise customers and requires up to 80% travel within India.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, deploy, and implement VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments.

- Install, configure, and manage VMware vSphere, including ESXi hosts and vCenter Server.

- Implement and maintain VMware Aria Automation to automate infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management.

- Deploy and configure VMware NSX for software-defined networking, network virtualization, and security.

- Perform infrastructure migrations, upgrades, and modernization projects.

- Troubleshoot complex virtualization, networking, and cloud infrastructure issues.

- Work closely with customers to gather requirements and deliver VMware-based solutions.

- Ensure infrastructure availability, scalability, security, and performance.

- Create technical documentation, implementation guides, and operational runbooks.

- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver projects within defined timelines.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).

- Expertise in VMware vSphere (vCenter, ESXi, HA, DRS, vMotion).

- Experience with VMware Aria Automation (formerly vRealize Automation).

- Hands-on knowledge of VMware NSX for network virtualization and micro-segmentation.

- Understanding of virtualization, cloud infrastructure, storage, and networking concepts.

- Experience with VMware deployment, migration, and infrastructure transformation projects.

- Familiarity with scripting and automation using PowerCLI, PowerShell, or Python.

- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- VMware certifications such as VCP-DCV, VCAP, or VCF Specialist are preferred.

- Experience working in enterprise or consulting environments.

- Exposure to hybrid cloud platforms and automation tools is an added advantage.

Travel Requirement :

- Willingness to travel up to 80% within India for customer implementations, deployments, and project engagements.
