Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled VMware Administrator to join our infrastructure team in Bangalore, Chennai, or Tamil Nadu. In this role, you will be the primary custodian of our virtualized environment, ensuring the seamless operation, scalability, and security of our server infrastructure.

You will work closely with cross-functional IT teams, system architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. By maintaining high availability and optimizing resource allocation, you will directly influence the performance of mission-critical applications, ensuring a stable and efficient digital ecosystem for our end users and global clients.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and maintain the VMware vSphere environment to ensure maximum uptime and performance for enterprise-grade applications.

- Configure and troubleshoot Windows Server and Linux operating systems to support diverse workload requirements across the virtual infrastructure.

- Execute routine patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management of host servers to mitigate security vulnerabilities and maintain system compliance.

- Monitor system health and resource utilization, proactively addressing bottlenecks to optimize infrastructure capacity and reduce operational costs.

- Collaborate with internal IT teams to resolve complex technical incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and service level agreements.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale VMware environments, including vCenter, ESXi, and vSAN, with a focus on high-availability configurations.

- Proficient in administering Windows Server and Linux environments, with the ability to perform deep-dive troubleshooting and performance tuning across both platforms.

- Strong analytical mindset to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues, coupled with the ability to communicate technical solutions clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

- Proven ability to work effectively in a hybrid or on-site environment, maintaining high productivity while collaborating with distributed teams.

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by a commitment to continuous learning in evolving cloud and virtualization technologies.
