Role Overview:

As an HCL Commerce Developer at VML Enterprise Solutions, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing eCommerce solutions for our clients. You will collaborate closely with architects, business analysts, and other developers to translate business requirements into functional and technical designs. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve coding, testing, debugging, and deploying HCL Commerce applications, ensuring high performance and scalability. This role directly impacts our clients' ability to deliver exceptional online shopping experiences, driving customer satisfaction and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and customize HCL Commerce applications based on business requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.

- Design and implement efficient and scalable eCommerce solutions, optimizing performance and user experience for our clients.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HCL Commerce with other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.

- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of HCL Commerce applications, ensuring high quality and reliability for our clients' online stores.

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for HCL Commerce applications, resolving issues and ensuring smooth operation for our clients.

- Contribute to the development of technical documentation and best practices, sharing knowledge and improving team efficiency.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to develop and customize HCL Commerce applications, versions V8 and V9.

- Proven expertise in Java development, including experience with J2EE, Spring, and related technologies.

- Strong understanding of eCommerce concepts and best practices, including catalog management, order management, and payment processing.

- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks.

- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, explaining complex concepts clearly and concisely.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Adaptable to a remote work environment, demonstrating self-discipline and effective time management skills.
