About the Role :

We are looking for highly skilled and experienced Senior PHP Developers to join our development team.

The ideal candidates will be responsible for building, enhancing, and optimizing web-based applications and backend systems using PHP and modern frameworks.

This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities :

Application Development :

- Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using PHP, Laravel, CodeIgniter, or other relevant frameworks.

- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.

- Work on both backend logic and API integration.

Database Management :

- Design, manage, and optimize MySQL/SQL databases.

- Create efficient queries, stored procedures, and ensure high performance of database-driven applications.

- API Integration & Development

- Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services/APIs.

- Ensure seamless data exchange between systems.

System Architecture & Optimization :

- Participate in system design discussions and propose optimal architecture solutions.

- Perform code optimization, debugging, and troubleshooting to improve application performance.

Collaboration & Project Execution :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams including UI/UX, QA, product managers, and IT.

- Understand project requirements, estimate tasks, and ensure timely delivery.

- Handle version control using Git and follow agile development processes.

Security & Quality Assurance :

- Implement security best practices, data protection, and error-handling mechanisms.

- Ensure high-quality output through code reviews, unit testing, and QA collaboration.

Required Skills & Expertise :

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in PHP (Core PHP + MVC frameworks like Laravel/CodeIgniter).

- Strong understanding of MySQL, database design, and optimization techniques.

- Hands-on experience with JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, HTML5, and CSS3.

- Experience with version control systems (Git).

- Knowledge of API development, web services, and third-party integrations.

- Familiarity with Linux/Ubuntu environments and server deployment is a plus.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

- 5+ years of experience in PHP development (mandatory).

- Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS/Azure) is an added advantage.

- Exposure to BPO/IT-enabled product development will be preferred
