Virtusa - Veeva Network Developer

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Veeva Network Developer to support enterprise commercial data operations and customer data mastering in a global life sciences environment. The role will involve hands-on Veeva Network development and configuration, customer data management, integrations with surrounding platforms, data quality, and technical solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, configure, develop, and enhance Veeva Network solutions supporting customer data mastering and commercial data operations.

- Configure and maintain data models, match and merge rules, data workflows, data quality processes, and integration workflows.

- Support end-to-end Veeva Network implementations, enhancements, releases, and production operations.

- Translate business requirements into scalable functional and technical designs and implement appropriate Veeva Network solutions.

- Design and support HCP/HCO and customer master data processes, including data standardization, validation, matching, merging, and enrichment.

- Integrate Veeva Network with surrounding systems including Salesforce, Veeva CRM, Snowflake, data warehouses, analytics platforms, and enterprise applications.

- Develop and optimize SQL queries in Snowflake for data extraction, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and reporting.

- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and relevant integration tools.

- Work with tools such as Postman, API Gateway, Informatica, or equivalent integration technologies.

- Perform data profiling, validation, reconciliation, and data-flow troubleshooting across upstream and downstream systems.

- Monitor data quality and ensure adherence to defined data governance, compliance, security, and quality standards.

- Analyze production issues, identify root causes, and coordinate with Veeva Support, IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders for timely resolution.

- Stay current with Veeva Network releases and new capabilities and assess opportunities to improve processes and solution effectiveness.

- Maintain technical specifications, data mappings, integration documentation, configuration documents, and operational procedures.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog activities.

- Manage multiple priorities independently and provide timely updates on delivery, risks, issues, and dependencies.

- Collaborate with global business, IT, data, vendor, and application teams to deliver reliable commercial data solutions.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives across customer data mastering, integration, reporting, and operational processes.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6 - 10 years of experience in Veeva Network, commercial data management, master data management, or related life-sciences technology roles.

- Veeva Network certification is mandatory.

- Strong hands-on experience with Veeva Network development and configuration.

- Proven experience with Veeva Network full-lifecycle implementations.

- Strong understanding of customer data mastering and HCP/HCO data models.

- Hands-on experience with match and merge, data models, workflows, data quality, and integration processes in Veeva Network.

- Strong SQL skills with experience in Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.

- Experience integrating Veeva Network with Salesforce, Veeva CRM, data warehouses, and analytics platforms.

- Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and enterprise integration patterns.

- Experience with integration tools such as API Gateway, Postman, Informatica, or equivalent.

- Experience with data profiling, validation, reconciliation, data quality, and data-flow troubleshooting.

- Good understanding of ETL, data warehousing, reporting, and analytics concepts.

- Strong understanding of data governance, compliance, privacy, and security requirements within the life sciences/pharmaceutical domain.

- Experience with technical design, solution documentation, data mappings, and implementation support.

- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities.

- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills across global teams.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with tools such as Jira and Confluence.

- Exposure to SAFe or similar scaled Agile delivery models is preferred.
