Virtusa - Cloudflare Administrator

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Cloudflare Administrator with 6 - 10 years of experience in managing, configuring, administering, and troubleshooting Cloudflare services across enterprise environments.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Cloudflare administration, DNS management, CDN, Web Application Firewall (WAF), SSL/TLS, traffic management, and security configurations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Administer and manage Cloudflare services across multiple domains, applications, and enterprise environments.

- Configure and maintain Cloudflare dashboards, zones, DNS records, security settings, and traffic management policies.

- Monitor Cloudflare performance, availability, security events, and traffic analytics.

- Manage DNS records, including A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, and other DNS configurations.

- Configure and optimize CDN caching policies to improve application performance and reduce origin server load.

- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cloudflare Web Application Firewall (WAF) policies.

- Implement firewall rules, custom security rules, IP access restrictions, bot management, and rate-limiting policies.

- Develop, configure, and manage Cloudflare Workers for edge computing and request processing.

- Work with Cloudflare APIs to automate administrative tasks and manage configurations.

- Diagnose and resolve DNS, origin server, caching, SSL/TLS, HTTP/HTTPS, and API connectivity issues.

Technical Stack :

- Cloudflare Administration, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, CDN, WAF, SSL/TLS.

- Cloudflare Workers, Cloudflare REST APIs.

- JavaScript/TypeScript, Python (scripting).

- Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, AWS/Azure/GCP.

- Monitoring tools : Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk.

Requirements :

- 6 - 10 years of overall IT/networking/security experience.

- Minimum 5 - 6 years of relevant experience in Cloudflare administration and management.

- Strong hands-on experience in production environments.

- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
