About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced System Administrator / Engineer to manage, support and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in VMware, Windows/Linux administration, storage and backup solutions, along with infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer and support enterprise infrastructure, including VMware virtualization, Windows Server and Linux environments.

- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot infrastructure issues and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

- Manage storage and backup environments, including NetApp and Avamar.

- Perform Windows Server administration, system patching and upgrades using relevant tools such as SCCM.

- Support Citrix infrastructure and handle upgrades, configuration and troubleshooting.

- Monitor and maintain FTP, Azure Active Directory, SharePoint and Power BI environments.

- Handle incident management, problem resolution and infrastructure-related service requests.

- Maintain technical documentation, system configurations and operational procedures.

- Collaborate with global IT teams to ensure infrastructure availability and timely issue resolution.

- Participate in rotational/night shifts as per business requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 7 - 11 years of experience in System Administration or IT Infrastructure Support.

- Strong hands-on experience with VMware virtualization.

- Good knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration.

- Experience in storage and backup technologies, preferably NetApp and Avamar.

- Knowledge of Windows patching and SCCM.

- Experience with Citrix administration and troubleshooting.

- Familiarity with Azure Active Directory, FTP, SharePoint and Power BI.

- Strong troubleshooting, incident management and problem-solving skills.

- Knowledge of ITIL processes and ticketing systems.

- Good communication and coordination skills to work with global teams.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience supporting enterprise or financial services infrastructure.

- Knowledge of PowerShell or Bash scripting.

- Experience with infrastructure monitoring and performance management.

Note:

- Candidates should be comfortable working in rotational/night shifts.
