Nature of Work :

Lead end-to-end back-office application development, combining strategic leadership with hands-on technology oversight. Ensure seamless integration of IT systems with business processes, drive operational excellence, spearhead automation and digital transformation while maintaining compliance and managing vendor relationships.

Position Overview :

As the Head of Backoffice Operations, you will architect and execute a unified technology strategy that underpins all non-front-office functions.

Your leadership will ensure robust security protocols, scalable platforms, and seamless system integrations that elevate operational efficiency and client satisfaction.

You will tackle the challenges of scaling infrastructure for rising transaction volumes, champion automation to reduce manual steps, and maintain regulatory compliance within a dynamic market landscape.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the full lifecycle of back-office application development, ensuring integration with trading and risk platforms

- Design and evolve IT architecture, including database management, middleware, and application support

- Mentor cross-functional teams on Java, React, and DevOps practices to foster innovation

- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define and implement a technology roadmap aligned to business goals

- Identify and execute automation and process optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency

- Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines, data security standards, and operational risk controls

Education & Experience Requirements :

- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

- 15+ years in back-office IT management within financial services

- Proven track record managing large technical teams and cross-functional stakeholders
