We are hiring an Automation Team Lead to drive infrastructure automation and AI/GenAI initiatives across a large, multi-domain enterprise environment. You will lead a team of automation engineers and AI practitioners, partnering with Network, Security, UNIX/Linux, Wintel, Virtualization, and Cloud teams to deliver scalable automation solutions that reduce manual effort and transform IT operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of automation engineers and AI/ML practitioners.

- Define and execute the automation roadmap across Network, Security, Server, Virtualization, and Cloud domains.

- Design and deliver automation workflows using ServiceNow Workflow Designer and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash).

- Drive AI/GenAI initiatives - AIOps, anomaly detection, self-healing systems, LLM/Copilot-based assistants for IT operations.

- Partner with infrastructure teams to automate patching, provisioning, change execution, compliance checks, and other operations.

- Integrate automation with monitoring platforms (Splunk, SolarWinds, OpenTelemetry) and ITSM (ServiceNow).

- Measure and report KPIs: automation coverage, MTTR reduction, productivity gains, and cost savings.

Must-Have Skills :

- 10+ years of IT experience with 4+ years leading automation, DevOps, or SRE teams.

- Strong scripting skills : Python, PowerShell, Bash.

- Hands-on with ServiceNow Workflow Designer / Orchestration.

- Working knowledge of enterprise infrastructure: Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto, Check Point, Windows Server, Active Directory, RHEL/AIX, VMware, Hyper-V, NetApp, Cisco UCS, M365, Active directory, etc.

- Cloud experience: AWS and/or Azure.

- Hands-on experience with AI/GenAI tools - OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, LLM integration, prompt engineering.

- Experience with monitoring tools: Splunk, SolarWinds, OpenTelemetry.

- Strong understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes.

- Certifications: AWS/Azure Architect, ServiceNow CSA/CAD, ITIL, AI/ML certifications.

- Exposure to AIOps platforms and Platform Engineering.
