Verismart.ai - Backend Developer - Node.js

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Backend Developer with a strong understanding of Node.js and blockchain technologies to join our team.

This role involves designing, developing, and implementing backend solutions focusing on consent management, KYC interoperability, and blockchain-based systems. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about cutting-edge technology and blockchain innovation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Build and maintain scalable web services using Node.js frameworks like Express.js.

- Ensure the codebase is clean, modular, and well-documented.

- Apply basic blockchain knowledge, including generating and verifying proofs, and understanding concepts

- Design and implement secure, efficient RESTful APIs to interact with databases and third-party services.

- Leverage deep knowledge of JavaScript for both frontend and backend development.

- Work closely with product teams, front-end developers, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Work with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis) and SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).

- Utilize Git for version control and collaborative development.

- Deploy applications on cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

- Develop microservices-based architectures and use Docker for containerization.

Skills Required :

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js.

- Hands-on experience with Express.js or similar frameworks.

- Familiarity with blockchain concepts, Ethereum, and proof generation/verification.

- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and best practices.

- Experience with MongoDB, Redis, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.

- Knowledge of authentication protocols like OAuth and JWT.

- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and deployment strategies.

- Experience with microservices architecture and Docker.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with smart contracts and Solidity is a plus.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Qualifications :

- Node.js Developer with 4-5 year of experience

- B.Tech/B.E. /M. Tech/ BCA / MCA or related technical discipline from reputed universities
