Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Verification and Validation Engineer responsible for ensuring the functionality, reliability, and quality of software and embedded systems. The role involves analysing system requirements, developing verification strategies, designing and executing test cases, and identifying and resolving defects across the product development lifecycle. The candidate should have strong experience in testing methodologies, test automation, debugging, and system-level validation, with the ability to collaborate closely with development and engineering teams.

Responsibilities:

- Analyse system and software requirements to define verification strategies, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria.

- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test procedures, and verification documentation.

- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing.

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python, C/C++, or other relevant programming languages.

- Perform software and hardware integration testing, including system-level validation.

- Set up and maintain test environments, test benches, simulators, and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) setups, wherever applicable.

- Identify, analyse, and document defects; perform debugging and root cause analysis in collaboration with development teams.

- Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, execution results, and identified defects.

- Analyse test results, prepare validation reports, and communicate quality status and potential risks to stakeholders.

- Collaborate with software, firmware, hardware, and system engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.

- Contribute to test automation, process improvements, and enhancement of verification methodologies.

- Support product releases by ensuring verification activities are completed and quality requirements are met.

Requirements:

- 6 - 9 years of experience in Verification and Validation, embedded software testing, system testing, or product validation.

- Strong understanding of software and system verification methodologies, test design techniques, and testing lifecycle.

- Hands-on experience in functional, integration, system, and regression testing.

- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, C, or C++.

- Experience developing and maintaining test automation scripts and frameworks.

- Understanding of embedded systems, hardware-software integration, and system-level testing.

- Experience with debugging tools, test equipment, simulators, or validation environments.

- Familiarity with HIL/SIL testing and automated test environments is preferred.

- Experience with requirement management, defect tracking, and test management tools.

- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and product development lifecycles.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.
