Job Summary :

We are seeking a seasoned VB6 Developer with a strong background in legacy system analysis and documentation.

The ideal candidate will not only have hands-on experience in VB6 development but also possess the analytical skills to understand, interpret, and document existing VB6 applications.

This role is critical in bridging legacy systems with modern development initiatives by ensuring comprehensive documentation and knowledge transfer.

Key Responsibilities :.

- Analyse and understand existing VB6 applications, workflows and business logic.

- Document legacy system rules and dependencies in a clear and structured manner.

- Maintain and enhance VB6 applications to ensure stability and performance.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support modernisation efforts and integration.

Qualifications :.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in VB6 development and legacy system maintenance.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to reverse-engineer and document complex systems.

- Proficient in software development methodologies and lifecycle management.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
