VAYUZ Technologies - Backend Developer - Java

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer who is passionate about building platform-scale infrastructure that powers leading DTC and retail brands to deliver exceptional mobile experiences. You will play a key role in architecting and developing the core backend systems that form the foundation of our platform. What You'll Build High-Performance Backend Services

- Develop multi-tenant backend services using Java 17+ and Spring Boot, handling millions of API requests daily.

- Build push notification systems, community engagement systems, and mobile-optimized API endpoints.

- Implement advanced caching strategies and performance optimizations to maintain global response times under 200ms.

- Design and maintain robust data processing pipelines for customer analytics, engagement tracking, and business intelligence.

- Develop personalization engines to deliver tailored experiences for millions of end-users.

Integration & API Ecosystem :

- Design developer-friendly APIs that enable seamless integrations with major e-commerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce.

- Build webhook systems, data synchronization services, and third-party connector frameworks.

- Develop authentication, rate limiting, and security systems to safeguard both platform and customer data.

- Create monitoring and analytics systems that provide actionable insights into platform usage and performance.

What We're Looking For Core Engineering Expertise :

- Minimum 6 years of backend development experience with proven success in building and scaling SaaS systems.

- At least 3+ years in a product-focused company, contributing to customer-facing features and platform evolution.

- Deep proficiency in Java (JDK 17+) and Spring Boot, with strong knowledge of JVM optimization.

- Hands-on experience with Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.

- Ownership of production systems, including debugging, performance tuning, and maintaining high-availability environments.

- Expertise in microservices architecture, including service boundaries, distributed transactions, and inter-service communication.

SaaS Platform Experience :

- Experience with multi-tenant architectures, covering tenant isolation, resource sharing, and customer-specific configurations.

- Proven API design skills, with the ability to create intuitive, well-documented APIs that developers enjoy using.

- Database expertise across SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (Firebase/Redis) systems, with a focus on query and performance optimization
