VAYUZ Technologies - Android Developer - Java/Kotlin

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage compatibility across devices and Android versions.

- Handle debugging, deployment issues, and improve app performance.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams from concept to launch.

- Mentor junior developers and manage project execution.

Requirements :

- Strong experience with Android, Java, Kotlin, and modern libraries (e.g., Retrofit, RxJava,

Dagger).

- Experience with AWS, Linux, databases, and publishing apps on Play Store.

- Familiarity with Agile tools like JIRA, and strong documentation skills.

- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

Good to Have :

- Knowledge of AI/ML, Python, VR/AR, or iOS.

- Degree in CS/ECE with solid DSA foundation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain large-scale Android apps with focus on performance and scalability.

- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams.

- Ensure app readiness, stability, and SLAs.

- Mentor team members and support L3 issue resolution.

Must-Have Skills :

- Strong in Jetpack, Coroutines, threading, memory management.

- Dependency Injection using Dagger2 or Hilt.

- Hands-on with Unit Testing, debugging, Git, Jira.

- Familiar with multiple Android versions, devices, and screen sizes.

- Experience with Jetpack Compose and TIF layer is a plus.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Qualification :

- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or related field.
