We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer (SDE-2) to design and build scalable, high-performance systems powering our carbon intelligence platform. You will be responsible for developing distributed systems, managing complex data pipelines, and ensuring robust integrations across backend, databases, and infrastructure layers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect, design, and implement scalable and resilient backend systems using Python (Django/FastAPI) and Golang. Develop and maintain data pipelines and APIs for geospatial and carbon data processing.

- Lead system architecture and database design for real-time and batch processing applications.

- Integrate and optimize cloud-native services (AWS S3, EC2, RDS, Lambda, etc.) for compute, storage, and orchestration.

- Collaborate with product, data science, and field teams to deliver impactful backend solutions.

- Drive performance optimization, observability, and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) improvements.

Required Qualifications :

- 5+ years of backend development experience. Strong foundation in system design, distributed systems, and data modeling.

- Expertise in Python, Golang, and frameworks such as Django or FastAPI.

- Experience working with AWS services and DevOps best practices.

- Proficiency with both relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.

- Proven track record in building large-scale, data-intensive backend systems in production environment
