Valor PayTech - Data Analyst - Tableau/Power BI

Responsibilities :

- Gather data from various sources such as relational databases, data warehouses, cloud platforms, and external APIs.

- Clean, preprocess, and transform data to ensure quality, consistency, and usability.

- Analyze large datasets using statistical and data mining techniques.

- Automate repetitive and manual processes used for reporting and analytics.

- Reconcile and validate data across multiple systems and datasets.

- Identify trends, patterns, and outliers in complex data sets to generate actionable business insights.

- Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations in Tableau to support business decision-making.

- Use tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Python (Pandas, Matplotlib, Plotly) for advanced data visualizations.

- Develop and maintain robust SQL queries and Python scripts for data extraction, manipulation, and automation.

- Integrate data pipelines with external/internal APIs for real-time or scheduled data ingestion.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Provide ad-hoc analysis and support ongoing and special analytics projects.

- Recommend improvements in data collection, storage, and reporting processes.

- Stay current with the latest tools, technologies, and best practices in data analytics and visualization.

- Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or AWS/GCP data tools.

- Exposure to machine learning algorithms and data science concepts.

- Relevant certifications in Tableau, Python, Data Analysis, or Business Intelligence.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience as a data analyst or Tableau developer.

- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and RESTful APIs for data access and analysis.

- Strong experience with data visualization tools like Tableau (mandatory) and Power BI.

- Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data quality concepts.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills; ability to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience working independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

- Preferred domain experience : BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) or Fintech.
