Java Developer (Struts/Stripes Framework Mandatory)

About the Role :

Ushyaku Software Solutions is looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in Apache Struts (Struts 2.x) and/or Stripes Framework. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise web applications, APIs, and integrations.

Important :

Hands-on experience with Struts or Stripes Framework is mandatory. Candidates without relevant project experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain Java-based web applications using Struts/Stripes framework.

- Design and develop REST/SOAP APIs and system integrations.

- Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

- Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.

- Deploy and manage applications on Apache Tomcat.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Mandatory Skills :

- 4 - 8 years of experience in Java application development.

- Strong hands-on experience with Apache Struts 2.x and/or Stripes Framework (Mandatory).

- Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP, Collections, Exception Handling, and Multithreading.

- Experience with JSP, JSTL, Custom Tags, and MVC architecture.

- Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot/Spring MVC).

- Strong SQL and JDBC knowledge.

- Experience developing and consuming REST/SOAP APIs.

- Hands-on experience with Maven, Git, and Apache Tomcat.

- Strong debugging, analytical, and production support skills.

Good to Have :

- Experience with JMS/Message Queues.

- Knowledge of encryption/decryption techniques.

- Experience with SMPP, SMS integrations, FCM/APNS, or Java Mail.

- Exposure to cloud platforms and microservices architecture.

Applications lacking hands-on Struts/Stripes project experience will not be shortlisted.
