UsefulBI Corporation - Power BI Developer - Dashboard Design & Reporting

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau.

- Build and optimize SQL queries and semantic models to support business reporting and analytics.

- Create and manage data models that ensure data consistency, reusability, and scalability.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into functional BI solutions.

- Use Python for data manipulation, automation, or integrating advanced analytics where necessary.

- Ensure high-quality data through effective validation, data cleaning, and reconciliation techniques.

- Monitor and maintain the performance of BI tools and optimize for efficiency and scalability.

Requirements :

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a BI Developer or similar role.

- Expertise in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, semantic modeling, publishing reports to Power BI Service).

- Proficient in SQL - capable of writing complex queries and optimizing performance.

- Experience in Tableau for advanced visualization and dashboarding.

- Working knowledge of Python for scripting, data processing, or advanced analytics.

- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL concepts, and semantic layers.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

- Clear communication skills for presenting data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.

- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.

- Prior exposure to agile methodologies or DevOps in BI projects.
