Unloadbox - Senior Dynatrace Engineer - Site Reliability

POSITION SUMMARY :

We are seeking a Senior Dynatrace Engineer with strong expertise in Dynatrace, SRE practices, and root cause analysis (RCA). The role focuses on building end-to-end observability across hybrid environments (cloud, on-prem, containers) and performing deep RCA for complex distributed systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Design and implement end-to-end observability for hybrid applications

- Perform deep RCA using traces, metrics, logs, and service flow analysis

- Lead P1/P2 incident bridge calls, especially when no clear RCA is visible

- Drive onboarding of applications into Dynatrace with full-stack visibility

- Troubleshoot production issues (performance, data gaps, monitoring inconsistencies)

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve performance

- Communicate incident findings clearly to stakeholders

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILL SETS :

- Strong hands-on experience with Dynatrace (APM, OneAgent, ActiveGate, RUM, Synthetic, Logs, Davis AI, alerting, anomaly detection, dashboards)

- Expertise in RCA, production troubleshooting, and performance analysis

- Solid understanding of hybrid environments (AWS, Kubernetes, ECS, on-prem)

- Experience in observability design and application onboarding

- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management under pressure

EDUCATION :

- Bachelors Degree or equivalent
