We are looking for an enthusiastic SEO Web Engineer to build, optimize, and maintain SEO-friendly web applications at Unacademy. This is an on-site opportunity for candidates passionate about web development and eager to learn how technical SEO and modern web technologies work together.

Responsibilities :

- Develop clean, semantic, SEO-friendly HTML/CSS/JavaScript.

- Work on CMS platforms (WordPress, Next.js, custom stacks) for site optimization.

- Implement technical SEO practices : indexing, structured data, schema, Core Web Vitals, and mobile responsiveness.

- Collaborate with marketing, content, and dev teams to ensure SEO best practices.

- Monitor site health and SEO metrics via Google Search Console, Analytics, and Lighthouse.

Requirements :

- Experience : 0- 1 year (Freshers welcome).

- Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent practical experience.

- Strong foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Knowledge of SEO basics : meta tags, sitemaps, robots.txt, and canonical tags.

- Familiarity with Git and debugging.

- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

Nice-to-Have :

- Experience with React, Next.js, or Vue.

- Exposure to SSR (Server-Side Rendering) and SSG (Static Site Generation).
