Job Summary :

RBM Software Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Senior UI Developer Lead with deep expertise in React and Next.js to architect, build, and optimize high-performance, scalable web applications.

In this leadership role, you will guide a frontend engineering team, define best practices, and ensure the delivery of modern and responsive user interfaces. A strong focus on performance optimization, code quality, and user experience is critical.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead a team of front-end engineers to build enterprise-level web applications using React.js and Next.js.

- Architect, plan, and deliver performant applications with server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and incremental static regeneration (ISR) using Next.js.

- Identify and implement React and Next.js performance optimizations including :

1. Code-splitting, lazy loading, and dynamic imports.

2. Memoization techniques (React.memo, useMemo, useCallback).

3. Image optimization using Next.js Image component.

4. Use of getStaticProps/getServerSideProps to reduce API latency and boost page speed.

- Ensure SEO, accessibility, and web performance compliance through Lighthouse audits and metrics.

- Establish frontend architecture, enforce development best practices, and drive consistent UI coding standards.

- Review code, mentor developers, and drive continuous improvement across the team.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Backend Developers to deliver impactful features.

Primary Skills :

- Advanced proficiency in React.js, Next.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.

- Deep knowledge of React ecosystem and performance tuning.

- Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright or Cypress for frontend test automation.

- Proficient in modern build tools such as Vite or Webpack.

- Integration of RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.

DevOps & Tooling :

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially using GitHub Actions.

- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and container-based deployments.

- Hands-on with AWS services like S3, EC2, VPC, SES, and Route53.

Performance Monitoring & UX Collaboration :

- Familiarity with tools like Google Lighthouse, WebPageTest, PageSpeed Insights, and Core Web Vitals.

- Use of Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch to work closely with design teams.

- Strong understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and SEO principles in Next.js.

Leadership & Soft Skills :

- 7+ years of UI development experience including 2+ years in a technical lead or architect role.

- Strong leadership, mentorship, and cross-team collaboration capabilities.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to lead design discussions, sprint planning, and architectural reviews.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

- Prior experience building high-traffic, SEO-friendly, and mobile-first web applications.

- Exposure to monitoring tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, or Mixpanel.
