Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced IBM Workload Scheduler (TWS) Administrator / Infrastructure Lead with 10-15 years of experience in enterprise scheduling and infrastructure environments. The role will involve administering and optimizing IBM Workload Scheduler, managing critical batch workloads, and coordinating multiple deliverables across application and infrastructure teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, configure, and maintain IBM Workload Scheduler (TWS) environments.
- Design and manage enterprise-wide workload scheduling solutions and batch processing workflows.
- Monitor scheduled jobs, dependencies, calendars, alerts, and production workloads.
- Troubleshoot scheduling failures, job dependencies, performance issues, and production incidents.
- Plan and execute TWS upgrades, configuration changes, and maintenance activities.
- Manage multiple deliverables with varying timelines, from short-term operational activities to long-term infrastructure initiatives.
- Collaborate with application, database, infrastructure, and development teams to ensure reliable batch processing.
- Develop and maintain operational procedures, documentation, and scheduling standards.
- Support automation and continuous improvement of scheduling and infrastructure processes.
- Work with Oracle/DB2 databases and SQL for scheduling-related data and operational requirements.
- Understand and support integration of TWS with enterprise applications and backend systems.
- Work with REST APIs and microservices for application and scheduling integrations.
- Collaborate with development teams working with Java, Node.js, and React.js where required for integrated scheduling solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10-15 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, workload scheduling, or production support.
- Strong hands-on expertise in IBM Workload Scheduler (TWS).
- Experience managing complex enterprise scheduling environments and critical batch workloads.
- Strong troubleshooting, monitoring, and production support experience.
- Good knowledge of Oracle/DB2 and SQL.
- Understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and application integration.
- Exposure to Java-based backend applications.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables with different timelines.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
