We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist who will design and develop data-driven solutions using state-of-the-art methods. Job Summary :
- Analyze industrial manufacturing data (machine sensors, PLC systems, production logs, and process data) to identify patterns, inefficiencies, and opportunities for predictive optimization.
- Design and develop AI/ML models for manufacturing applications such as predictive maintenance, quality prediction, anomaly detection, and process optimization.
- Build and deploy scalable machine learning pipelines in Python and integrate them with industrial data platforms and cloud environments such as AWS.
- Work with large-scale time-series data from industrial equipment, IoT devices, and MES/SCADA systems to derive actionable operational insights.
- Develop real-time monitoring dashboards and visualization tools to support plant operations, engineering teams, and production management.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers, data engineers, and operations teams to translate shop-floor challenges into AI-driven solutions.
- Implement advanced statistical techniques and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Pandas, SQL) to build reliable and production-ready industrial analytics solutions.
- Conduct applied research in Industrial AI / Industry 4.0, prototype innovative models, and document findings through technical reports, research publications, and internal knowledge sharing.
Experience :
- 5 - 8 years of professional experience working with manufacturing industries such as foundries, steel plants, or metal casting operations, with exposure to shop-floor production data and industrial processes.
- Hands-on experience with Industry 4.0 / Smart Factory ecosystems, including integration of industrial IoT devices, sensor networks, and data platforms used in modern manufacturing environments.
- Practical exposure to advanced industrial AI applications such as digital twins, predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and process optimization for improving plant efficiency and equipment reliability.
- Experience working in a SaaS, AI, or deep-tech startup environment, contributing to the development of scalable technology products, rapid prototyping, and deployment of data-driven solutions.
- Experience working with industrial data platforms such as MES, SCADA, or PLC-based systems to collect and analyze real-time
operational data.
- Ability to work closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to convert manufacturing challenges into deployable AI/ML solutions.
Qualification :
- B.Tech / M.Tech / Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, or related disciplines.
- Strong academic background in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Industrial Automation systems.
- Additional certifications or research exposure in AI/ML, Industrial IoT, Data Science, or Industry 4.0 technologies will be an advantage.
