Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to design, architect, and deploy scalable backend applications and services. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern programming languages, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures, along with the ability to collaborate across teams and contribute to system design and reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend applications and microservices.

- Architect and implement scalable, cloud-native systems in collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams.

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code; conduct thorough code reviews and mentor peers.

- Build, deploy, and operate CI/CD pipelines and production systems.

- Work extensively with databases, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms.

- Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of backend services.

- Participate in and help lead Agile development practices, driving continuous improvement in engineering processes.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize distributed systems in production environments.

Required Qualifications :

- 4+ years of professional experience in software development.

- 2+ years of experience contributing to service design and system architecture.

- Strong proficiency in modern programming languages, such as Golang and/or Python.

- Deep understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures.

- Hands-on production experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and data modeling.

- Solid experience with Docker and modern software engineering best practices.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).

Preferred Qualifications :

- Strong experience with Golang, AWS, and Kubernetes.

- Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.

- Prior experience working in a start-up or fast-paced product environment.

- Familiarity with observability tools (logging, monitoring, alerting).
