Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and container orchestration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments while improving deployment efficiency, system reliability, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, ensuring scalability, security, availability, and performance.

- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.

- Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

- Implement cloud monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance management using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.

- Manage Azure networking components, including Virtual Networks, Subnets, Network Security Groups, Load Balancers, VPNs, and Private Endpoints.

- Implement identity and access management using Microsoft Entra ID, managed identities, RBAC, and Azure Key Vault.

- Develop automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Bash to streamline infrastructure operations.

- Manage application releases, deployment strategies, rollback procedures, and environment configuration across development, testing, and production.

- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and application performance issues.

- Implement backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability strategies.

- Collaborate with development, QA, security, and architecture teams to improve release quality and operational efficiency.

- Follow DevSecOps practices by integrating security scans, vulnerability assessments, and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines.

- Maintain technical documentation, infrastructure standards, and operational runbooks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- 7 - 9 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, infrastructure automation, or platform engineering.

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure management.

- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or equivalent tools.

- Proficiency in Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep for Infrastructure as Code.

- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

- Strong understanding of Azure networking, cloud security, identity management, and access controls.

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.

- Scripting experience in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

- Familiarity with Git-based version control and branching strategies.

- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and incident management skills.

- Understanding of cloud cost optimization, resource governance, and operational best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

- Experience implementing GitOps practices using tools such as Argo CD or Flux.

- Familiarity with Helm, service meshes, and microservices architectures.

- Exposure to DevSecOps tools, automated security testing, and policy-as-code.

- Experience working with hybrid cloud environments and enterprise-scale production systems.
