Role Summary :

The incumbent will lead enterprise-wide IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and IT commercial functions, ensuring high availability, security, compliance, and cost optimisation. The role will drive strategic initiatives across cloud, on-premise systems, and IT governance while leading infrastructure and security teams.

Key Responsibilities :

1. IT Infrastructure Management :

- Lead design, implementation, and operations of enterprise IT infrastructure across cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and on-premise environments.

- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of IT systems.

- Drive disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning (BCP) frameworks.

- Lead infrastructure modernisation, automation, and cloud transformation initiatives.

- Manage large-scale projects including data centre transformation and cloud migration.

2. IT Security & Compliance :

- Define and execute enterprise cybersecurity strategy.

- Oversee endpoint security, network security, IAM/PAM (e.g., CyberArk), and data protection mechanisms.

- Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 : 2022 and data protection regulations (DPDPA).

- Lead vulnerability management, VAPT cycles, and incident response.

- Drive Zero Trust security architecture and strengthen overall security posture.

3. IT Commercial & Procurement :

- Manage end-to-end IT procurement lifecycle including vendor evaluation, negotiations, and contract management.

- Drive cost optimisation across infrastructure, cloud, and software licensing.

- Own IT budgets (Capex & Opex planning, tracking, and control).

- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and audit requirements.

- Optimise license utilisation across enterprise platforms.

4. Vendor Management :

- Manage relationships with OEMs, cloud providers, and security vendors.

- Define SLAs and monitor vendor performance.

- Act as escalation point for critical vendor issues.

- Ensure service delivery quality and adherence to timelines.

5. Governance, Risk & Audit :

- Ensure audit readiness across infrastructure and security domains.

- Implement IT policies, controls, and governance frameworks.

- Maintain risk registers, compliance reports, and audit documentation.

- Drive closure of audit observations within defined timelines.

6. Leadership & Team Management :

- Lead Infrastructure, Security, and Commercial teams through respective leads.

- Drive performance management, capability building, and accountability.

- Foster a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Ideal Candidate Profile :

- 18 to 25 years of experience in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and IT operations.

- Strong exposure to cloud platforms, enterprise security, and IT governance.

- Proven experience in managing large IT budgets and vendor ecosystems.

- Leadership experience handling large, multi-functional teams.

- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and enterprise risk management.

UG : ITI Certification in Information Communication Technology System Maintenance, B.Tech / B.E. in Information Technology, B.Sc in Information Technology (IT)

PG : Master in IT Management in Any Specialization, M.Des. in Information Design, MBA/PGDM in Information Technology
