Role Overview:

As a Windows OS Subject Matter Expert, you will serve as the technical authority for complex Windows server environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. You will work closely with cross-functional infrastructure teams and global clients to architect, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade server solutions. Your expertise will be pivotal in driving large-scale cloud migration initiatives and optimizing virtualized environments, directly impacting the stability and scalability of critical business applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Architect and execute complex Windows server migration strategies to facilitate seamless transitions to cloud or hybrid environments.

- Manage and optimize virtualized infrastructure on VMware and Nutanix platforms to ensure peak performance and resource utilization.

- Automate routine administrative tasks and deployment processes using advanced PowerShell scripting to improve operational efficiency.

- Troubleshoot complex issues related to NTFS permissions, VSS snapshots, and file system integrity to maintain data availability and security.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to design robust disaster recovery and backup solutions that align with business continuity requirements.

- Provide high-level technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members to foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrate deep expertise in Windows Administration, with a proven ability to manage large-scale, enterprise-level server environments.

- Possess advanced proficiency in PowerShell for automating infrastructure management and complex system administration tasks.

- Exhibit strong hands-on experience in managing virtualized environments using VMware and Nutanix technologies.

- Show a comprehensive understanding of cloud migration methodologies and the ability to lead migration projects from planning to execution.

- Maintain technical mastery over NTFS architecture, VSS configurations, and storage management to ensure robust data handling.

- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to drive project alignment.

- Adapt effectively to a hybrid work environment across Bangalore, Hyderabad, or Chennai, maintaining high productivity and collaboration.

- Hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, supported by 8 - 14 years of relevant professional experience.
