Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js | NestJS | MongoDB)

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who enjoys building scalable, high-performance systems and wants to play a key role in shaping both technology and engineering culture.

You will work closely with product, design, and leadership teams to architect, build, and scale backend services that power mission-critical applications. What You'll Do :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and NestJS.

- Build and optimize distributed systems and microservices architectures.

- Design and manage MongoDB databases, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.

- Develop real-time communication systems using WebSockets.

- Architect cloud-native solutions on AWS, leveraging services such as ECS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, RDS, API Gateway, and related technologies.

- Implement secure, resilient, and highly available backend infrastructure.

- Collaborate with frontend, product, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality features.

- Drive engineering best practices around code quality, testing, observability, and performance optimization.

- Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to long-term platform architecture.

- Mentor junior engineers and actively contribute to building a strong engineering culture.

- Take ownership of projects from design through deployment and production support.

What We're Looking For :

- 4 to 6 years of backend engineering experience.

- Strong expertise in Node.js and NestJS.

- Hands-on experience with MongoDB and database design principles.

- Experience designing and operating microservices at scale.

- Strong understanding of WebSockets and real-time application architectures.

- Experience building and deploying applications on AWS.

- Solid understanding of REST APIs, event-driven systems, and distributed architectures.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and production troubleshooting.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make architectural decisions.
