Role : Engineering Manager

Location : Onsite - Gurgaon

What will you be doing here?

- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of backend, frontend, data and AI engineers.

- Oversee the execution of engineering projects from planning to delivery, ensuring timelines,
quality, and budget goals are met.

- Drive engineering best practices, architecture decisions, and code quality standards.

- Work closely with Product, Design, QA, and other stakeholders to align technical execution
with business goals.

- Establishing and refining processes for release management, code review, sprint planning and
execution, QA, security and performance testing.

- Conduct regular 1 : 1s, performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback and career
development support.

- Participate in hiring processes to attract and retain top engineering talent.

- Stay current with industry trends and advocate for the adoption of new tools and technologies
that improve team productivity and code quality.

Requirement:

- B.tech in Computer science or a related field.

- 3+ years of people management or technical leadership experience

- 8+ years of software development experience

- Proficiency in languages like Python or Go

- Strong experience with relational (Postgres, MySQL) and NoSQL (Elasticsearch,MongoDB).

- Experience with high-throughput transactional systems

- Solid hands-on experience deploying and managing applications in Azure/GCP/AWS.

- Strong background in optimizing, managing, and running microservices with Kubernetes, with the ability to lead a team in these areas.

- Exposure or past experience with ETL systems, Big Data systems, or Data Engineering tools (Pandas, NumPy, Kafka) would be added advantage

- Proven success managing projects in an agile environment

- Strong communication, leadership, and team-building skills

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative startup or scale-up environment.

- Experience with graph databases (Neo4j, TigerGraph) would be a plus.

- Experience building GenAI applications would be a plus.
