TraceLink - Senior Salesforce Developer/Architect - Sales & Service Cloud

The Senior Salesforce Developer Architect is a strategic and hands-on technical leader responsible for designing, building, and optimizing large-scale Salesforce solutions that power global enterprise operations.

This role requires deep platform expertise, architectural leadership, and the ability to drive end-to-end solution delivery across complex, integrated environments.

You will play a critical part in shaping the Salesforce ecosystem that supports TraceLinks digital supply chain platform and mission-critical business functions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and own the Salesforce architectural blueprint across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Platform apps.

- Lead technical design sessions, translating business requirements into scalable, modular, and extensible Salesforce architectures.

- Establish best practices for data modeling, code structure, integration patterns, and platform governance.

- Perform impact analysis and guide solution selection, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.

Salesforce Development & Customization :

- Develop high-quality, reusable Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), APIs, and batch processes.

- Oversee development of complex automation using Flow, platform events, asynchronous jobs, and custom metadata.

- Ensure adherence to secure coding practices, performance optimization, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Drive standardization and modernization of existing Salesforce codebase and configuration assets.

Integration & API Engineering :

- Architect and implement integrations between Salesforce and ERP, finance, marketing automation, and AI systems.

- Utilize REST/SOAP APIs, middleware solutions, Mulesoft, and event-streaming frameworks for robust, fault tolerant integrations.

- Design and govern data synchronization strategies, error-handling frameworks, and transformation pipelines.

- Optimize large-scale data operations including ETL, bulk API usage, and custom data orchestration logic.

- Data, Reporting, and Analytics Oversee custom reporting, dashboards, and data models supporting operational and executive insights.

- Implement scalable solutions for data quality, enrichment, archiving, and compliance-driven retention.

- Collaborate with data engineering teams to align Salesforce data with enterprise data ecosystems.

Project Leadership and Delivery :

- Lead multi-team Agile projects with accountability for scope, timelines, technical decisions, and quality.

- Partner with product owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional engineering teams to drive delivery of complex Salesforce initiatives.

- Provide architectural guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to Salesforce engineers and administrators.

- Manage multiple concurrent priorities within a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.

Compliance, Security, and Governance :

- Ensure Salesforce solutions comply with industry regulations relevant to pharmaceutical supply chain and healthcare.

- Implement security models including role hierarchy, sharing rules, field-level security, and encryption controls.

- Drive platform governance processes including release management, versioning, sandbox strategy, and DevOps automation.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation :

- Evaluate emerging Salesforce capabilities, AppExchange solutions, and integration technologies to improve platform maturity.

- Champion adoption of modern DevOps practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment pipelines.

- Optimize system performance, technical debt management, and platform reliability across global operations.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Proven experience as a Salesforce Architect across multiple clouds and enterprise programs.

- 5+ years of integration experience with ERP, finance, marketing, or AI systems.

- Strong expertise in Apex, LWC, SOQL, integration patterns, and Salesforce APIs.

- Deep understanding of enterprise workflows, master data, and complex data transformations.

- 10+ years experience with custom reporting, analytics, and large-scale data processing.

- 7+ years project or technical leadership experience with Agile delivery.

- Experience in regulated industry environments (pharma, healthcare, compliance-driven) strongly preferred.

- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
