Job Description :
The ideal candidate is a senior integration engineer/architect who remains hands-on while providing architectural and technical leadership. The candidate should be comfortable moving between code-level troubleshooting, solution design, production-readiness assessment and client conversations.
Experience :
- Typically, 8+ years of software, backend or integration engineering experience.
- At least 3-5 years of experience designing or leading event-driven and API-based enterprise integrations.
- Prior experience functioning as a Technical Lead, Integration Lead, Senior Backend Engineer or Solution Architect is strongly preferred.

- Integration: Salesforce, enterprise system integrations, API integrations
- Data Engineering: Dataiku, ETL/ELT, data quality, data validation
- Cloud: AWS
- AWS Services: API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, IAM, Secrets Manager
- Architecture: Event-driven architecture, microservices, asynchronous processing, concurrency, scalability, fault tolerance
- Testing: pytest, unit testing, functional testing, contract testing, integration testing, automated validation frameworks
- DevOps: CI/CD, deployment automation, monitoring, logging, production troubleshooting
- Engineering: API design, performance optimization, idempotency, error handling, distributed systems
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop event-driven, asynchronous and distributed system integrations.
- Design and develop scalable Python-based APIs and integration services.
- Define source-of-truth, data ownership and conflict-resolution rules across participating systems.
- Design and review REST APIs, webhooks, event-processing services and Snowflake data components.
- Ensure that integrations correctly handle duplicate events, simultaneous updates, out-of-order events and partial failures.
- Implement or guide the implementation of idempotency, retry, timeout, dead-letter and replay mechanisms.
- Evaluate system behaviour under concurrent processing and high transaction volumes.
- Develop monitoring, logging, alerting and reconciliation controls to identify records that are out of sync.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers through solution design, development, troubleshooting and deployment.
- Partner with business analysts to translate conceptual requirements and business rules into implementable technical designs.
- Lead technical discussions with clients and clearly communicate architectural decisions, risks, dependencies and trade-offs.
- Create and maintain architecture diagrams, interface specifications, data contracts and operational documentation.
- Support production troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and continuous platform improvement.
