Description :

A Test Engineer is a professional who determines how to create a process that would test a particular product, in order to assure that the product meets applicable specifications.

Test engineers are also responsible for determining the best way a test can be performed in order to achieve high test coverage using different test processes.

Your background :

- Detailed understanding of how to properly document test cases.

- Prepare test planning and create test cases to test complex web-based applications.

- Perform Functional, Regression, Integration & User acceptance Testing.

- Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements and estimation.

- Provide weekly/daily testing reports to the Test Lead/Manager/.

- Work as individual contributor and maintain high standards of communication.

- Present ideas for system improvements; assist the team in establishing good practices and habits.

- Should be able identify and document defects and drive them to closure through coordination.

- Should have knowledge of at least one of the standard testing tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, HP ALM, etc.

- Hands-on experience in writing automated tests using Java, TestNG and Selenium.

- Strong demonstrable knowledge of OOP concepts and the Java programming language.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Functional Test Engineer :

- 4-10 years of experience.

- Detailed understanding of how to properly document test cases.

- Prepare test planning and create test cases to test complex web-based applications.

- Perform Functional, Regression, Integration & User acceptance Testing.

- Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements and estimation.

- Provide weekly/daily testing reports to the Test Lead/Manager/.

- Candidates with Banking/ Financial domain are preferred.
