Tietoevry - Senior Mainframe Developer - JCL/COBOL

Description :

With us you will be responsible for :

- Product Development and Maintenance (Change requests), production support, query handling, technical and domain support to customer.

- Analyze and debug defect situations using technical tools and product knowledge.

- Programing in COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS.

- Working on IBM MQ.

- Understanding the requirements & estimating the efforts for the same.

- Writing unit test cases, Unit testing, System Testing and UAT.

- Working with programmers, testers and other specialists in global team setup.

- Able to apply business knowledge when developing, debugging to debug the source and suggesting solutions.

- Technical analysis, High/ Low Level Design and Detailed Solution.

- Close cooperation with Java development team for integration between our Java-based client and the Core

System, Able to use our Java-based client for test and debug purpose.

We expect you to have :

- IT skills, specifically application development (AD).

- 5 to 8 years of experience in Mainframe.

- Experience in coding using COBOL.

- Experience in CICS/DB2/JCL/MQ.

- Some experience in debugging tool.

- English skills ability to communicate with customer (mails/phone calls).

Good to have :

- Must be well-organized, responsible, work effectively in projects with good communication skills.

- Payments /Cash management domain understanding.

- Experience working with SWIFT and other areas of payments / messaging / reconciliation.

- Knowledge of formats as ISO and SWIFT.

- Understanding of reconciliation and matching.

- Knowledge of Statements (e. MT940/MT950/camt.053) Confirmations (MT3XX)FX/MM trades and derivatives confirmations.
