Tietoevry - Senior Java Backend Developer - Spring Boot

Description :

- Backend Developer with 7+ yrs of exp (Java with Oracle Database).

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java (Spring Boot ).

- Build and maintain RESTful APIs consumed by frontend and mobile apps.

- Implement security best practices, including authentication and data protection.

- Develop and optimize database interactions with Oracle Database.

- Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and perform performance tuning on Oracle.

- Manage connection pooling and transactions for Oracle Database.

- Use ORM frameworks like Hibernate or Spring Data JPA for Oracle integration.

- Write automated unit and integration tests to maintain backend code quality.

- Work with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipelines and deployments.

- Participate in Agile workflows, including sprint planning and reviews.

Required Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot framework.

- Hands-on experience with Oracle DatabaseSQL query optimization, schema design, indexing, and PL/SQL.

- Experience using JDBC or Spring Data JPA for Oracle connectivity.

- Familiarity with Oracle-specific features such as partitioning, sequences, and advanced indexing.

- Experience implementing authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT).

- Proficiency with build tools Gradle, Groovy.

- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and cloud services AWS, is a plus.

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
