Thinksys - PHP Developer - Laravel/Symfony

Description :

We are seeking a talented PHP Developer with strong expertise in Core PHP, object-oriented programming, and popular frameworks such as CakePHP, Laravel, or Symfony. The ideal candidate should also be skilled in front-end technologies and database management, and capable of delivering robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze, understand, and translate business requirements into functional modules.

- Develop and maintain web applications using Core PHP, CakePHP, and front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).

- Write clean, reusable, and optimized code following MVC and OOP principles.

- Create, maintain, and troubleshoot complex database queries (MySQL/NoSQL).

- Debug and troubleshoot application and code-related issues.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance performance and user experience.

- Version control management using tools like Git, SVN, etc.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (B.Sc. (IT), BCA, MCA, B.E., B.Tech).

- Strong experience in Core PHP and OOP concepts.

- Proficient in at least one PHP framework: CakePHP, Laravel, Symfony.

- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.

- Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).

- Proficient with version control systems (Git, Mercurial, SVN, etc.).

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with AWS services and deployment tools.

- Familiarity with JIRA, GitHub, and Agile methodologies.

- Exposure to Smarty Templates and template engine concepts.

- Understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
