The Wedding Company is India's largest wedding planning and fulfillment company, managing an annual GMV of $10M, and disrupting the $130bn market (4% of India's GDP). The Wedding Company has raised a seed round from prominent investors like Arash Ferdowsi, Dropbox cofounder and Chaitanya Ramalingegowda, Wakefit cofounder.

We are looking for a Frontend Developer. You will be responsible for architecting and developing end to end delivery of one or more products while collaborating effectively with across teams. You will be joining a talented, collaborative team who is very passionate about solving this massive problem. Based on your experience you may be leading a small team of Engineers.

What Youll Do :

- Build and maintain pixel-perfect, responsive web experiences using React JS.

- (Bonus) Build and ship React Native apps for Android and iOS.

- Translate product and UI/UX requirements into high-performance, scalable interfaces.

- Write clean, reusable, and testable code with best practices in mind.

- Optimize components for maximum speed and performance across devices.

- Collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers.

- Debug and resolve issues across multiple browsers and mobile devices.

- Participate in code reviews, CI/CD improvements, and internal UI design discussions.

What Were Looking For :

- 1 - 3 years of hands-on experience with React.js (primary requirement).

- Strong foundation in Javascript, Next JS, React JS, Typescript.

- Good understanding of REST APIs and integrating frontends with backend services.

- Familiarity with React Native and prior experience deploying Android/iOS apps is a huge plus.

- Solid understanding of UI state management, performance tuning, and component lifecycles.

- Write clean, modular, reusable, and testable code following industry best practices and coding standards.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment with a product-first mindset.

Bonus Points :

- Youve published an app to the Play Store or App Store

- Basic understanding of Figma or design hand-off tools

- Passion for building products that delight real users
